It has been more than a month since I was back from my honeymoon and dived straight into piles and piles of work. 12 hour workdays became my normal working hours and that explained my sporadic updates in my blog as I would be wiped out after work. And my weekends were better spent recuperating from work or gathering with friends. Not to worry, there will still be updates from time to time, perhaps not as regular as I would love to.
Yes, I know I still owe my updates on my honeymoon, a trip which both of us enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Although it was just a 5D4N trip, it turned out to be a great way to relax and indulge in the euphoria of marriage. One can’t go that wrong with a beach resort like Bali.
We (or rather I) decided on a private villa, The Seiryu Villa, where we have access to our own private pool. We can spend almost half of our day lazing by the pool at the sun deck area. Nearing late afternoon, we would make our way to the shopping belt for good shopping bargains and nice dinners.
I am glad that we chose a short trip that does not require much planning and allows us to spend much needed quality time together as a newly-married couple. All the wedding stuff prior to our trip took quite a toll on us. Even before we came back, we were already thinking of our next trip back to Bali!
